"If zero stars were an option, that is what this State Farm office would receive.
Our experience with Christine Jensen and Lateef Kirsten was extremely disappointing. We had our home and auto insurance bundled through this office, and the lack of communication and customer service was unacceptable.
We were not given adequate notice that our auto insurance policy was ending. While a cancellation notice may have been mailed, it looked like a routine billing notice, and we never received a phone call, email, or personal outreach to make sure we understood that our coverage was being terminated. We were left scrambling to find new insurance because of a situation that could have been handled with a simple conversation.
What is most frustrating is that this office had no problem contacting us repeatedly during a claim to request mileage information, but they could not make the effort to call or email us about something as important as our auto coverage ending. If they could reach out for mileage verification, they could have reached out about a major policy issue affecting their customers.
When we discovered our policy had ended, no one took the time to explain our options, assist us with alternatives, or help us find a solution. We were left to figure everything out on our own during a stressful and time-sensitive situation.
An insurance agency should be someone you can count on, especially when they handle both your home and auto policies. Unfortunately, this office failed to provide the communication, support, and customer service we expected. We would not recommend this office to anyone."

"I've communicated with Heather in Lateef's office for years, and I've been happy with her willingness to help and with how much she knows about the finer details of the insurance business. I appreciate having one specific person to turn to each time I have a question or concern. In so many businesses, there's no continuity of care, but that's not a problem here. My rating is based on quality customer service; I have not recently investigated pricing with other insurance companies, so I can't speak to whether their pricing is the best. However, I'm happy at State Farm because of the quality customer service."

"FIVE AND A HALF WEEKS AGO the office manager said she assured me that Lateef would call me back, FIVE AND A HALF WEEKS AGO. She is lazy, duplicitous, and says whatever comes to mid to get you off the phone so she can go back to ignoring any issues. Monday AM I had to call State Farm Corporate to initiate cancelling my policies, and then called the local office, she 'assured' me (she does that a lot) and said SHE would email me before COB. OF COURSE she did not. I called State Farm Corporate last night and they sent an email to the local office to assist me and get the email done. This morning the local State Farm refused my call AGAIN. I went to GEICO and they took care of me within 10 minutes had policies forwarded, and 50% cheaper. Their (GEICO's) professionalism and follow through is light years ahead of State Farm & Lateef Kirsten's agency. Do yourself a favor and leave State Farms and the exorbitant pricing and abysmal service and check GEICO out. Get the service you deserve and have paid for."

"State Farm is terribly overpriced. I got a rock chip in my windshield and went to Jiffy Lube to get it fixed. They told me that State Farm is the only major insurance company that does NOT waive the comprehensive deductible to cover the $50 to fix a rock chip. I called this State Farm office to see if they would waive the charge and they said no. I switched to Geico and literally saved $200 every 6 months for better coverage and they DO cover the rock chip. I have been a customer of State Farm since 1977. I now realize that I have been paying way too much for insurance."
